Our board members and mentors

An experienced leader driving year on year growth for the multi award winning Business Design Centre. He has worked in the venue and industry for more than two decades starting at Sodexho Catering before moving over to the BDC into the conference sector and now heading up the commercial venue sales operation. Max is also on the Board of the Association of Event Venues (AEV) and has been an active member since 2016, taking over as Chair in 2020 during one of the most challenging times our industry has faced. At the BDC Max is recognised as playing a pivotal role in their sustained growth and was active in the recent sale and new ownership of the BDC late last year. Now celebrating his 25th year at the BDC, he is responsible for all commercial activity throughout the venue and has a prominent presence in the events industry. He lives in Richmond with his wife and two daughters, enjoys travel and has a huge passion for everything to do with F1 motor racing.
