I am a senior marketer with 18 years of experience in planning and managing multi-platform marketing campaigns for consumer events. I have worked across various sectors, including food, craft, art, design, gardening and travel, and have launched and developed several successful event marketing campaigns. I have expertise in understanding customer needs and behaviour, creating and delivering long-term strategies, leading and motivating teams, working with multiple stakeholders and clients, and performing under pressure and tight deadlines. I have also worked as a freelance marketing consultant and project manager for various events, where I demonstrated my skills in website design, content creation, media planning, partnership development, budget optimization and data analysis. I am passionate about live events and eager to share my knowledge and experience with aspiring marketers. In my current role as Brand Marketing Director at Immediate Live, I am responsible for driving and developing central marketing strategies with compelling visitor propositions for commercial growth and supporting event targets. I lead the Senior Marketing Team to ensure the overall marketing platform is optimised for best practice and that marketing operates as a unified and highly effective function within the business as well as supporting brand marketing teams to deliver detailed visitor marketing strategies, targets, and plans in order to deliver visitor revenue and numbers on each event. I also seek mutually beneficial integration opportunities within the wider business, to support Immediate's revenue and audience growth, and represent the Live Events marketing function, offering support and expertise in cross-business audience development. My role encompasses ongoing measurement, evaluation, and adjustment of campaign and website performance, utilising Google Analytics, Tableau reports, and campaign trackers for spend and revenue optimisation and alongside the Digital & Data Marketing Director, I am integral to the understanding and agreement of the acquisition of new data and development of existing visitor databases. I also look to build strategic partnerships to attract new event audiences, leveraging existing event and wider business relationships, as well as new contacts in relevant industries. I also oversee the Exhibitor Marketing Strategy and additional revenue opportunities and results, ensuring alignment with the Visitor Marketing Strategy and outcomes
