Sindy Cain
Content Director,
Cain & Content and Clarion Events Ltd
Sindy is an experienced events professional with over 20 years working both in-house and across the events industry. Her career has grown from a genuine interest in content production and a steady commitment to creating meaningful, audience-led event experiences. Over the years, she has been fortunate to work with a number of respected organisations, including Ascential, GovNet, Clarion, The Economist, Times Higher Education, Haymarket, and EMAP. Today, Sindy runs Cain + Content, a content production agency where she focuses on content leadership, training, strategy development, and event content production. She also currently holds the role of Content Director for the Defence Division at Clarion Events. She thrives in exploring the intersection of industry and technology, with a focused on deep-tech, defence, security and sustainability. She has a genuine "geek" spirit when it comes to diving into these subjects, and absolutely loves a research call, as this is her superpower to ensure she delivers relevant event content that resonates with her audience. While working as Director of Conference Production at TM Forum, she and her team were proud to receive the Best Digital Conference award at the 2021 Digital Event Awards—recognition for a global hybrid event that broke new ground in format and delivery. Sindy also values giving back. She has provided training in conference production at companies like Ascential and GovNet and volunteers as a graduate mentor for students from the University of Southampton, helping them navigate early career steps with practical advice and encouragement. Beyond her professional life, Sindy is a wife, Chief Surface Polishing Officer, and mother to a charming girl and a son who is quite frankly a tiny terrorist, and a regular gym and kick boxing enthusiast.
