Register for 'Breast Cancer Awareness with Coppafeel!'

It’s October, and breast cancer awareness month.   Women in Exhibitions UK Chapter welcomes Emma Walker, Health Information Manager at Coppafeel! to host a webinar to raise awareness about breast cancer.

Breast cancer can affect any body.  Getting to know your body could save your life.

  • Breast cancer is the most common cancer in the UK with 1 woman diagnosed every 10 minutes.
  • Almost 9 in 10 (85%) of women survive breast cancer for 5 years or more.
  • Breast cancer survival is improving and has doubled in the past 40 years in the UK due to a combination of improvements in treatment and care, earlier detection through screening and a focus on targets, including fsater diagnosis.
  • An estimated 600,000 people are alive in the UK after a diagnosis of breast cancer.  This is predicted to rise to 1.2 million in 2030.
  •

Coppafeel!’s mission is to ensure all breast cancers are diagnosed early and correctly by…

  • Encouraging you to check your boobs and pecs regularly from a young age.
  • Educating you on the signs and symptoms of breast cancer.
  • Empowering you to seek advice from a doctor if symptoms persist.

The webinar will cover:

  • How to check yourself for anything out of the ordinary
  • Learn the signs of primary breast cancer
  • Learn the signs of secondary breast cancer
  • Question and answer time
